Our Mission

Venture Trust is a nonprofit development organization that seeks to implement earth-conscious technology in underdeveloped economies in water scarce regions of the world. We enable community members to secure access to fresh water, solar ovens, and environmentally friendly building materials. We believe that the weight of the world is significant to all. The effects of this weight on the unindustrialized world are severe. We envision development based on a design integrity, which marks the difference between short-term remedy and long-term solution, the difference between aid and empowerment.
Our Vision...

Is the opportunity for individuals to develop their communities in a way that liberates them from dependency on fossil fuels, volatile groundwater reserves, and long-term foreign handouts. We believe in empowering the individual farming household to produce agricultural surpluses, which allow families to lift themselves from poverty to prosperity. Prosperous families are able to take ownership of the technology provided to them by Venture Trust, which in turn uses the revenue to empower more farming households.

Currently we are working to build solar ovens and water storage tanks in rural Tanzania.
